because belle always tries to get along with people she would likely have a lot of friends but how many of those are real friends, and how many just want to make it look like they have friends everyone in the industry. she doesn't like people who hurt people so she would have no trouble telling someone off, so she would make some enemies. although her career is her main focus at the moment, if she met the right person, she would have no trouble shifting her focus to her love life.

best friends, like duh! maybe they've known each other since they were little and only just gotten back into contact with one another thanks to cassie's older brother, who found out that his little sister's childhood friend was in town and working her way to the top. in fact, cassie would probably do her best to see what she could do for her friend, to perhaps up her celebrity status. but i think we definitely need a dramatic fight in there somewhere, and then have them reconcile.

Okay, so going on your idea that perhaps, cassie wants to help belle reach a new hit in her career, maybe then belle finds out and thinks that cassie is trying to help her because she doesn't think that belle can make it on her own. that would definitely cause a dramatic fight between them.
